Jon Territo is beginning his 14th Season in the Fall of 2022 directing the Orlando Concert Band. Territo’s conducting credits also include the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Disney’s Christmas Candlelight Orchestra and Choir, the Garden Theatre and many years as the Producer and Instrumental Director of the Singing Christmas Trees, in Orlando.
Since 1989, Mr. Territo has worked as an educator, conductor, and musician in Central Florida. Originally from the Detroit area, he received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, where he worked under the legendary conductors H. Robert Reynolds, Jerry Junkin, Carl St. Clair, Larry Rachleff, and Gustav Meier.
Today, Jon Territo is the Director of Bands and Music Professor at Valencia College, in Orlando. He earned his master’s degree from Rollins College, and remains an active conductor, educator, performer, clinician, and speaker in Florida.
